FLO Vadodara, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Shivani P. Patel, organized a powerful session on Cyber Security Awareness to promote the FLO’s National Initiative – Digital Literacy, led by trainer Mr. Sagar Soni, a renowned cyber security expert.
This session was highly engaging, informative, and practical, equipping women via Udayan Care with a strong understanding of online risks and essential safety measures. The workshop introduced the concept of cybercrime, explained how it occurs, and covered key threats such as phishing, grooming, cyberbullying, and job fraud.
Participants learned important preventive steps, including creating strong passwords, using two-factor authentication, adopting safe browsing practices, and identifying fake links. The women were also made aware of government support systems such as the 1930 helpline and the portal cybercrime.gov.in, along with practical tools like Find My Device for securing personal devices.
This insightful session concluded with an interactive quiz that reinforced learning and kept the participants actively engaged. The use of real-life examples and practical tips made the workshop relatable, meaningful, and impactful for around 80 attendees. Cybersecurity awareness session is a part of FICCI FLO’s efforts towards enhancing women’s digital literacy and equipping them with practical skills for secure online practices.
