FLO Bangalore, under its Social Impact Circle, in collaboration with the Coacharya Foundation, conducted Youth Empowerment – Shaping the Future on 23rd June 2026 at Hombegowda Girls High School, Wilson Garden. The workshop was designed to equip students with essential life skills and AI literacy, preparing them to thrive in an increasingly dynamic and technology-driven world.
The programme engaged 120 students through experiential coaching sessions centred around the 5C Pillars—Confidence, Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity. Moving beyond traditional classroom instruction, the workshop encouraged participants to reflect, interact, solve problems collaboratively, and develop greater self-awareness. Through coach-led activities and discussions, students explored their strengths, recognised their potential, and learned practical techniques to communicate effectively, work in teams, and approach challenges with confidence.
A significant component of the workshop focused on Artificial Intelligence and Responsible Technology Usage. Students were introduced to the fundamentals of AI, its growing influence across everyday life and future careers, and the importance of ethical technology use. Sessions on digital citizenship, responsible online behaviour, and data privacy encouraged participants to become thoughtful users and creators of technology rather than passive consumers.
Led by experienced coaches from the Coacharya Foundation, the programme created a safe and engaging learning environment that inspired curiosity, empathy, and confidence. The interactive coaching methodology encouraged students to think independently, ask meaningful questions, and develop a growth mindset.
The workshop reinforced FLO Bengaluru’s commitment to empowering the next generation through life skills, digital literacy, and responsible innovation. By combining human-centric competencies with future-ready technological awareness, the initiative successfully bridged the gap between academic education and real-world preparedness, equipping young minds with the confidence, character, and digital fluency needed to become responsible leaders and changemakers of tomorrow.
Around 5 FLO Members participated in the coaching workshop to support 120 students from Hombegowda Girls High School. This initiative achieved a city-wide footprint of 12,250+ individuals in Bangalore.
