Career Exposure Workshop

Under the impactful leadership of Neha Goyal, Chairperson – YFLO Ahmedabad, a Career Exposure Workshop was successfully conducted on 27th January 2026 at Ahmedabad, benefiting 100 rural adolescent girls (Standards 9–12) from KGBV Bagodara and KGBV Rajoda (Bavla).

This meaningful initiative by YFLO Ahmedabad was designed to bridge the critical gap in career awareness and guidance among young girls from rural communities. The program focused on enabling informed decision-making at a crucial stage of their academic journey, while instilling confidence, aspiration, and clarity about future opportunities.

Through expert-led sessions, interactive discussions, and university exposure, the participants gained insights into:

  • Academic streams after Class 10 and 12
  • Government and competitive examinations
  • Scholarships and accessible career pathways
  • Higher education and professional opportunities

The workshop culminated in a university exposure visit, offering students firsthand experience of institutional environments and reinforcing the belief that higher education and ambitious careers are within their reach.

The initiative witnessed strong positive feedback, with students displaying increased confidence, improved awareness, and renewed motivation to continue their education. Many participants shared that this was their first-ever exposure to structured career guidance.

This program stands as a powerful reflection of YFLO Ahmedabad’s commitment to empowering young girls through education, awareness, and opportunity, creating pathways that can positively impact not just individual lives, but future generations.
