FLO Chennai, under the leadership of Chairperson Dr. Amulya Rao, hosted “The Business Networking Meet,” at Dr. Shraddha Dental Centre in Adyar, providing members with a welcoming and professional setting for meaningful networking. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 20 FLO Chennai members representing diverse industries and businesses. One of the highlights of the afternoon was the structured networking format, where every participant was given one minute to introduce themselves and present their business, ensuring equal visibility and encouraging purposeful interactions.
The session commenced with an insightful presentation by Dr. Shraddha Sachin Nichani, who shared her entrepreneurial journey and the growth of her dental practice, which now serves patients through two centres in Chennai. She educated members on the importance of preventive dental care and demonstrated the correct techniques for maintaining oral hygiene. Through an informative presentation supported by educational charts, she explained common dental conditions across different age groups, helping members better understand how oral healthcare needs evolve over time.
She also addressed frequently overlooked symptoms such as bleeding gums, tooth sensitivity, persistent pain, and changes in the oral tissues, emphasising the importance of early diagnosis and timely treatment. Members gained valuable insights into the modern techniques and anaesthesia options available today, which make dental procedures far more comfortable and help reduce anxiety associated with treatment.
