FLO Bangalore, under the leadership of Chairperson Deepa Boopesh Reddy, in collaboration with Cadabam’s Group, organised “Brain Ka Recharge Button” on 12 September 2026, an insightful expert talk and interactive session focused on brain health, emotional wellbeing and preventive mental health care. The event featured Dr. Sweta Adatia, a neurologist, author and brain coach, who guided participants through an engaging exploration of the relationship between the brain, emotions, stress and everyday functioning.
The session was designed to make brain health and emotional wellbeing more approachable and relevant to daily life. Dr. Adatia highlighted how prolonged stress, unmanaged emotions, and demanding routines can affect clarity, energy, decision-making, relationships, and overall quality of life. She encouraged participants to look beyond conventional perceptions of mental health and view emotional regulation, self-awareness and brain care as integral components of long-term wellbeing.
Through relatable examples and practical perspectives, the session enabled participants to reflect on their personal routines, emotional responses and coping mechanisms. The discussion focused on recognising the need to pause, recharge, and build habits that support mental resilience. Participants gained a clearer understanding of the importance of listening to their minds and bodies, recognising emotional strain early and seeking appropriate guidance or professional support when required.
The interactive format created a safe and meaningful environment for learning and dialogue for 150 participants. It encouraged members to ask questions, exchange perspectives and engage in conversations around a subject that is increasingly relevant in both personal and professional lives. The programme reinforced that prioritising emotional wellbeing is not limited to addressing challenges after they arise, but also involves preventive care, conscious self-management and consistent attention to brain health.
