Advocacy Meeting — FICCI FLO Lucknow with the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi: Building National Institutional Linkages for Women-Led Development

The Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi is not a venue FLO Lucknow visits routinely, making the meeting on 30th July 2026 a significant milestone in the chapter’s institutional journey.

Simran Sahni presented FLO Lucknow’s twelve-year journey, highlighting the chapter’s flagship initiatives and the sustained work behind them. The presentation featured SheRises, the entrepreneurship bootcamp connecting women founders with government schemes and funding pathways; the TCS Literacy collaboration, which builds certified trainers to take digital and financial literacy into rural communities; and the Five Circles model, which brings together Fit, Evolve, Tech, Rise, and Art to create a holistic member experience.

Together, these initiatives reflected a chapter committed not to isolated events, but to building sustained and structured programmes across multiple dimensions of women’s empowerment.

The Lieutenant Governor’s engagement went beyond a formal reception, resulting in a gracious invitation to visit FLO Lucknow. This concrete next step reflects meaningful institutional interest and opens possibilities for future collaboration and policy-level engagement.

The meeting also represents a broader evolution in FLO Lucknow’s institutional outreach. Over the past year, the chapter has strengthened relationships with government departments, universities, healthcare institutions, and civic bodies across Uttar Pradesh. Extending this engagement to the national capital marks another step forward.

For FLO Lucknow, the meeting represents an expansion of ambition — from a chapter deeply rooted in the districts and villages of Uttar Pradesh to one actively building the institutional linkages required to take its grassroots work and impact to a national stage.
