FLO Bengaluru’s Social Initiatives – Education Committee marked a significant milestone with the Advanced Tally Completion Certification Ceremony, celebrating the successful culmination of an intensive skill-building programme aimed at enhancing employability and financial independence.
Led by Shilpa Giria, the initiative recognised 22 students, many of whom are first-generation learners, who successfully completed the Advanced Tally training. For these participants, the certification symbolised more than professional qualification—it represented a meaningful step toward career stability, upward mobility, and improved prospects for their families.
The programme was delivered by experienced faculty from ICA, with a rigorous, industry-aligned curriculum focused on practical accounting, financial systems, and real-world application. The hands-on training ensured participants graduated with confidence, competence, and job-ready skills aligned with current market requirements in finance and accounting.
This impactful initiative was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Abaran, under the visionary leadership of Past Chairperson Dr. Nupur Handa, whose foresight enabled the launch of the programme. The initiative was further strengthened and successfully carried forward under the dynamic leadership of Chairperson Dekyi Yangtso Chawla, whose continued focus on meaningful social impact remains central to FLO Bengaluru’s mission.
The certification ceremony underscored the transformative power of targeted upskilling in unlocking employment opportunities, fostering independence, and driving long-term economic Empowerment.
