FICCI FLO Mumbai successfully organized an Industrial Visit to the Bharat Ratnam Mega Common Facilitation Centre (CFC), SEEPZ, followed by Renaissance Global Ltd., offering members a comprehensive understanding of India’s modern gems and jewellery manufacturing ecosystem. This industrial visit was spearheaded by Ms. Seema Saroj – Chairperson, FLO Mumbai, Ms. Upasana Batra – Executive Committee Member, Ms. Heena Shah – Vertical Head, MSME Export, and Ms. Jyoti M. Tiwari – Co-Head, MSME Export

The visit commenced at the Bharat Ratnam Mega CFC, an advanced facility established to support the jewellery industry through cutting-edge technology, innovation, skill development, and manufacturing support services. Members explored state-of-the-art facilities including 3D metal printing technology, advanced jewellery manufacturing machinery, design and prototyping laboratories, lab-grown diamond testing facilities, and quality certification services.

The visit also highlighted the Centre’s significant role in artisan training, skill enhancement, industry-oriented learning, and employment generation. The delegation further explored opportunities for collaboration in areas such as women-focused skill development programmes, student training, industry awareness initiatives, entrepreneurship promotion, and placement support. The second leg of the visit was to Renaissance Global Ltd., where members were taken through the complete jewellery manufacturing process—from wax moulding, casting, filing, polishing, diamond setting, to final plating and finishing.

The immersive walkthrough provided valuable insights into precision manufacturing, quality assurance systems, export standards, and global best practices adopted by one of India’s leading jewellery manufacturers. The industrial visit enabled members to understand the integration of technology, craftsmanship, and innovation in creating globally competitive products while showcasing the immense potential for women entrepreneurs and MSMEs within the jewellery and export sectors.

21 members participated in the industrial visit. The programme reflected FICCI FLO Mumbai’s continued commitment to facilitating industry exposure, knowledge exchange, and meaningful collaborations that empower women through entrepreneurship, skill development, and business opportunities
