FLO Raipur Chapter Startup Vertical organized “MSME & Startup Conclave: Know Your Business” on 11th May 2026 at Rama Greens to empower aspiring and existing women entrepreneurs with a comprehensive understanding of the startup and MSME ecosystem. The session aimed to bridge the gap between women-led enterprises and the numerous government initiatives available to support business creation, formalization, and sustainable growth.
The conclave featured Ms. Kumud Mishra, Assistant Director (MSME & Intellectual Property), Directorate of Industries, Department of Commerce and Industry, and Ms. Yamini Ogare, Assistant Director (Startups), Department of Commerce and Industries, who shared their expertise on the evolving entrepreneurial landscape in Chhattisgarh. Drawing on their extensive experience, the speakers provided valuable guidance on MSME registration, startup policies, intellectual property awareness, and the range of state and central government schemes designed to support emerging enterprises.
The session offered practical insights into startup subsidies, incubation support, funding opportunities, and the various growth frameworks available for women entrepreneurs. Participants gained a deeper understanding of how government-backed initiatives can help transform innovative ideas into scalable and sustainable businesses. The speakers also highlighted the rapidly expanding startup ecosystem in Chhattisgarh and encouraged members to identify new opportunities across diverse sectors while leveraging the available support infrastructure.
A significant focus of the conclave was to motivate women entrepreneurs to transition from home-based ventures to professionally managed enterprises by understanding formal business processes, compliance requirements, and strategic planning. The interactive discussions enabled participants to clarify their queries and gain confidence in navigating the entrepreneurial journey.
Through this initiative, the Startup Vertical reaffirmed FICCI FLO Raipur’s commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment among women. The conclave served as a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, inspiring members to build future-ready, innovation-driven businesses while making effective use of the resources and opportunities provided by the government.
