FLO Raipur, under the leadership of Chairperson Purnima Agarwal, hosted Re-Earth – a flagship initiative under the Green Tech & Circular Economy Vertical, held on 5th June 2026, marking World Environment Day with a strong message of sustainability, responsible resource management, and collective environmental action.
A significant highlight of the event was the signing of two strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with Earth Retreat Foundation and Myra Resorts, reinforcing FICCI FLO Raipur Chapter’s commitment to fostering long-term environmental and community-driven initiatives. These collaborations aim to create meaningful opportunities for sustainable development, environmental awareness, and ecological conservation.
The session featured Mr. Archit Upadhyay, Chief Engineer and Composting Expert, who is widely recognized for his expertise in sustainable waste management and composting systems. Through his practical insights, he emphasized the importance of converting organic waste into valuable resources and adopting environmentally responsible practices in daily life.
Participants gained hands-on understanding of composting and sustainable waste management through an engaging live demonstration. The event further encouraged environmental stewardship through the Soulful Plantation Drive, inspiring individuals to actively contribute towards a greener future.
A thought-provoking courtroom drama depicting Planet Earth served as a powerful reminder of the consequences of environmental neglect and the urgent need for sustainable living. The presentation effectively highlighted the shared responsibility of individuals and communities in protecting natural resources.
The event was graced by Mrs. Anubha, representing Earth Retreat Foundation, as the Special Guest. Her presence added strength to the initiative’s vision of community-led environmental action.
Overall, Re-Earth successfully promoted the principles of the circular economy, inspiring participants to rethink waste, embrace sustainability, and become active contributors to environmental conservation.
