Coaching Workshop on Youth Empowerment: Shaping the Future By Coacharya Foundation

The Youth Empowerment: Shaping the Future workshop, organized by the FICCI FLO Bengaluru Chapter – Social Impact Circle in collaboration with Coacharya Foundation, was conducted on 12 June 2026 at VET School, JP Nagar, Bengaluru. The initiative was designed to prepare students for the challenges and opportunities of the future by focusing on essential life skills and responsible technology usage.

Recognizing that academic excellence alone is no longer sufficient for success in today’s rapidly evolving world, the workshop introduced students to the 5C Pillars—Confidence, Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity. Through interactive and experiential coaching methodologies, students participated in activities that encouraged self-expression, teamwork, problem-solving, and innovative thinking. The sessions created a safe and engaging environment where students could build self-confidence, share ideas openly, and learn the value of collaboration.

A key component of the program was AI Literacy and Responsible Technology Usage. Students were introduced to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, its growing influence on daily life, and its role in shaping the future. The facilitators emphasized the importance of ethical technology practices, digital citizenship, responsible online behavior, and data privacy. By demystifying AI and encouraging thoughtful discussions, the program helped students understand how technology can be used as a force for positive change when guided by human values and responsibility.

The workshop was led by Deepa Reddy, Chairperson, Neelam Agarwal, Vertical Head, and Rupa Bajaj, Mentor to the Social Impact Circle, along with facilitators Ms. Priya and Mr. Ashish from Coacharya Foundation. Their combined expertise and interactive approach ensured that students remained engaged and inspired throughout the program.

The event successfully reached 120 students with the active participation of 5 FLO members and support through sponsorship contributions of ₹20,000. Beyond the immediate learning outcomes, the initiative aims to create a sustainable impact through the integration of 5C-based assessment frameworks, teacher-coach development, and the creation of a scalable model that can be replicated across schools and community organizations.

By combining life skills development with AI awareness, the workshop empowered students to become confident, responsible, and future-ready individuals capable of leading with both competence and conscience.
