Employability Program Job Fair 2026

FLO Bangalore, under the leadership of Chairperson Deepa Boopesh Reddy, organized “The Employability Program Job Fair 2026” on 5 June 2026, marking the successful culmination of a six-month employability enhancement initiative conducted at Swami Vivekananda Rural First Grade College. Designed under FLO’s Social Impact vertical, the program aimed to bridge the gap between education and employment by equipping students with the skills, confidence, and industry exposure required to thrive in today’s competitive job market.

Throughout the six-month journey, students participated in structured training sessions focused on communication skills, professional etiquette, resume building, interview preparation, career planning, and workplace readiness. These interventions were carefully curated to help students understand industry expectations and improve their employability prospects. To further strengthen their preparedness, a comprehensive Mock Interview Session was organized a week before the Job Fair, enabling students to gain practical interview experience, receive constructive feedback, and build confidence.

The Job Fair brought together 12 reputable companies from diverse sectors, creating a valuable platform for direct interaction between recruiters and aspiring job seekers. A total of 85 students participated in the event, engaging in recruitment processes, interviews, and career discussions with industry professionals. The participating companies not only evaluated candidates for employment opportunities but also shared valuable insights into workplace culture, professional growth, and emerging industry trends.

The event witnessed an encouraging response from both students and employers. Recruiters appreciated the preparedness, enthusiasm, and confidence displayed by the participants, reflecting the effectiveness of the training provided throughout the program. As a significant outcome, approximately 30 students received placement offers, while several others were shortlisted for subsequent rounds of recruitment.

Supported by MOR Charitable Trust and FLO member Neelam Agarwal, the initiative demonstrated the power of collaborative efforts in driving social impact and youth empowerment. The event also strengthened industry-academia partnerships, paving the way for future recruitment drives, internships, mentorship opportunities, and continued skill-development initiatives.

Sandeep Agarwal, Trustee of MOR Charitable Trust, has been actively involved in supporting education, skill-building initiatives, and community development programs. His contribution has been instrumental in enabling employability and career advancement opportunities for rural students.

By creating direct pathways to employment and fostering career readiness among rural youth, the Employability Program Job Fair 2026 stands as a meaningful example of FLO Bangalore’s commitment to empowering communities and building sustainable livelihoods through education, skill development, and industry engagement.
