New Member Orientation and Interactive Session

FICCI FLO, under the leadership of Puja Garg, National President, organized “New Member Orientation and Interactive Session” on June 16, 2026, at FICCI Federation House, New Delhi. The session aimed to make new members aware of FLO’s broader vision, purpose, and years of impact in empowering women across India. They learned about how FLO empowers women at different levels in different domains, such as entrepreneurship, corporate governance, STEM, financial literacy, policy advocacy, skilling, and grassroots development. 

The session was opened by FLO National President Puja Garg, who welcomed new members to the FLO family and discussed the vision for creating a nationwide impact through women’s leadership. Ms. Garg discussed the organization’s 42 years of impact in women entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, and nation-building through the network of 15,000 members and 22 chapters. She addressed the responsibilities, available opportunities, and the privileges of being a member of India’s largest women-led business network. 

Rashmi Sarita, FLO Executive Director, led a discussion on FLO’s ecosystem, including the strength of the community across different chapters, its role in strengthening women-led development, governance framework, committees, and initiatives to help members navigate the organization effectively. 

Smriti Puri, FLO Past National Treasurer, guided new members about how they can involve in networking, build meaningful relationships, and community leadership for creating nationwide impact. Ms. Puri discussed with attendees how they can contribute to FLO’s mission by leading impactful initiatives and programs after becoming a leader. She added how they can focus on their personal and professional growth through access to mentorship, industry exposure, business collaborations, international delegations, and public policy initiatives.
