Spill the Legali-Tea; Know Your Rights, Become Legally Empowered

FLO Kanpur, under the leadership of Chairperson Ankita Garg, organised an insightful legal awareness session titled “Spill the Legali-Tea” focused on Streedhan and Women’s Property Rights. Held at Hotel Royal Cliff, Kanpur, the session brought together FLO members, professionals, and students for a meaningful discussion on legal rights that directly impact women’s financial security and independence.

The session was led by Manasi Chaudhari, founder at Pink Legal and author at Legally Yours. Ms. Chaudhari is an Oxford-educated, award-winning lawyer, entrepreneur, and bestselling author. A corporate and entertainment lawyer by profession, she has worked in the chambers of former Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud and has been associated with landmark legal matters.

The session was highly interactive, with attendees actively engaging in discussions and raising questions on topics such as ownership of Streedhan, inheritance rights, marital property, wills, succession planning, and legal remedies available to women.
