FLO Indore organized an industrial visit to Pratibha Syntex Pvt. Ltd., Pithampur, one of India’s leading textile exporters and a globally recognized manufacturer known for its commitment to quality, innovation, sustainability, and responsible business practices. The visit provided members with an opportunity to gain firsthand exposure to the functioning of a large-scale export-oriented manufacturing organization and understand the factors that contribute to success in highly competitive international markets.
Participants toured the facility and gained insights into the company’s integrated operations, international certifications, supply-chain management systems, quality assurance processes, product development capabilities, and customer-centric approach. Members learned that the company, which began with just two women employees, has grown into an organization where women today constitute approximately 63% of the workforce, representing more than 3,400 women across its operations. This remarkable achievement demonstrated how inclusive employment practices can create meaningful social impact while strengthening business performance and organizational growth.
The visit also encouraged meaningful dialogue around export readiness, scaling businesses for international markets, and the role women entrepreneurs can play in contributing to India’s export growth story.
