Industrial Visit to Pratibha Syntex Ltd. – Exploring Global Textile Exports and Sustainable Manufacturing

FLO Indore organized an industrial visit to Pratibha Syntex Pvt. Ltd., Pithampur, one of India’s leading textile exporters and a globally recognized manufacturer known for its commitment to quality, innovation, sustainability, and responsible business practices. The visit provided members with an opportunity to gain firsthand exposure to the functioning of a large-scale export-oriented manufacturing organization and understand the factors that contribute to success in highly competitive international markets. 

Participants toured the facility and gained insights into the company’s integrated operations, international certifications, supply-chain management systems, quality assurance processes, product development capabilities, and customer-centric approach. The management team shared valuable perspectives on the evolving global textile industry, changing buyer expectations, emerging market trends, and the growing importance of sustainability and traceability in international trade. 

Mr. Shreyaskar Chaudhary, Managing Director and CEO of Pratibha Syntex Ltd., shared key insights from his journey of building a globally respected, export-focused textile enterprise. He spoke about international market dynamics, evolving customer expectations, innovation, sustainability, and the importance of creating long-term value through responsible business practices.

A particularly inspiring aspect of the visit was Pratibha Syntex’s commitment to women’s empowerment. 

Members learned that the company, which began with just two women employees, has grown into an organization where women today constitute approximately 63% of the workforce, representing more than 3,400 women across its operations. This remarkable achievement demonstrated how inclusive employment practices can create meaningful social impact while strengthening business performance and organizational growth.

The visit also encouraged meaningful dialogue around export readiness, scaling businesses for international markets, and the role women entrepreneurs can play in contributing to India’s export growth story. Through direct interaction with industry leaders, participants gained practical insights into overcoming challenges, identifying opportunities, and building globally competitive enterprises.
