The AI Awareness & Corporate Exposure Session was organised by FICCI FLO Amritsar in collaboration with MITS Academy with the objective of promoting digital literacy, technology awareness, and career guidance among underprivileged students from Karampura Government School. Conducted on 12th May 2026 at MITS Academy, the session provided students with an engaging and practical introduction to Artificial Intelligence and modern workplace culture.
The session was led by Ankit, Technical Trainer & Career Mentor, who introduced students to the basics of Artificial Intelligence and its applications in everyday life and modern industries. Through practical demonstrations and relatable examples, students learned how AI tools can improve productivity, communication, creativity, and learning experiences. The session also covered the importance of writing effective prompts for AI platforms, helping students understand how clear and context-rich instructions generate better results.
Students were introduced to widely used AI platforms, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Microsoft Copilot, along with practical use cases and demonstrations. To make the learning process interactive and enjoyable, the programme included games, discussions, live demonstrations, and question-and-answer sessions that encouraged enthusiastic student participation.
An important highlight of the initiative was the corporate work environment tour, where students were given exposure to office departments, workplace hierarchy, reporting structures, and collaborative work culture. The experience provided practical insight into professional environments and helped 35 students understand how organisations function on a day-to-day basis.
The session positively impacted students by increasing awareness around emerging technologies and future career possibilities in Artificial Intelligence and Information Technology. It encouraged confidence, curiosity, and digital awareness while motivating students to explore technology-oriented learning opportunities. Overall, the initiative successfully combined education, experiential learning, and career exposure to create a meaningful and inspiring experience for the participating students.
