On the occasion of World Environment Day, FICCI FLO signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Productivity Council (NPC), under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership to advance sustainability, productivity, and women-led development.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Mr. Shirish Paliwal, ADG, NPC, and Mr. Ashutosh Makup, Director, NPC, reinforcing a shared commitment towards building a greener and more sustainable future.
Through this collaboration, FICCI FLO and NPC will jointly work on capacity building, green technologies, circular economy practices, sustainability initiatives, exposure visits, international study delegations, and the implementation of government programmes.
A key focus will be on grassroots “Waste to Wealth” initiatives that promote responsible consumption, environmental stewardship, and socio-economic empowerment for women.
By combining NPC’s technical expertise with FLO’s extensive national network, the partnership aims to create meaningful impact, foster innovation, and contribute to a more productive, sustainable, and inclusive India.
