FLO Bangalore, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Deepa Boopesh Reddy, organised a “Meeting with Ms. Rohini Sindhuri, Principal Secretary, MSME Department, Government of Karnataka,” on 20 May 2026 with the objective of strengthening collaboration with the MSME ecosystem. The meeting served as an important platform to introduce the vision and initiatives of FICCI FLO Bengaluru while exploring opportunities that could support women entrepreneurs through government-led programmes, policy initiatives, and institutional partnerships.
The discussion focused on creating a structured engagement framework that would help FLO members access relevant government schemes, funding opportunities, mentorship, advisory support, capacity-building programmes, and policy driven support under various central and state MSME programmes.
The interaction also aimed at bridging the gap between women entrepreneurs and the resources available through the MSME Department by establishing direct channels of communication and knowledge-sharing. One of the key highlights of the meeting was the detailed discussion on the RAMP (Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance) Programme, a Government of India initiative designed to strengthen the MSME sector through innovation, technical assistance, market access, and institutional support.
Ms. Rohini Sindhuri shared valuable insights into how the programme can benefit women entrepreneurs, particularly through initiatives focused on outreach, skill enhancement, entrepreneurship development, and financial support mechanisms. The meeting further explored opportunities for collaboration in organising workshops, awareness sessions, mentorship programmes, and knowledge forums involving government officials, industry experts, and technical specialists.
Discussions also included identifying relevant resource persons who could support FLO initiatives and help members better understand the practical aspects of accessing grants, subsidies, and policy benefits. The interaction concluded on a highly positive and encouraging note, with both sides expressing interest in building a long-term association focused on empowering women-led enterprises.
FICCI FLO Bengaluru also extended an invitation to Ms. Rohini Sindhuri to participate in future FLO initiatives and engage with members through leadership interactions and knowledge-sharing sessions. The meeting laid a strong foundation for meaningful collaboration aimed at fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable growth within the women-led MSME ecosystem.
