Fusion Fit Gym on Ashok Marg became something it perhaps rarely is — completely still. Over 30 FLO Lucknow members gathered not to network, not to learn, and not to strategise, but simply to breathe. To pause. To be. The Guided Meditation Session, organised under FLO Lucknow’s Fit Circle initiative, was facilitated by Shubhangii Shukla — a meditation practitioner who is also a FLO member, a detail that shaped the entire tenor of the evening.
This was not an outsider delivering a wellness programme. It was a peer creating a sanctuary for her community — and the difference was felt from the first moment. The session moved through four carefully chosen themes: peace, gratitude, forgiveness, and inner happiness. Each formed its own chapter within the experience — a progression that took participants from the surface of their thoughts into something quieter and more spacious beneath.
Members who arrived carrying the weight of packed schedules and full inboxes found, over the course of the session, that the weight could be set down — at least for a while. What made the experience particularly resonant was its communal nature. Thirty women, in a room together, choosing stillness — there is something in that collective intention that amplifies the individual experience. The silence was not empty; it was full, shared, and held by everyone present. Several members described the session as the most genuinely restorative hour they had spent in recent memory.
The FLO Fit Circle’s philosophy — that wellness is not a solo journey — was lived and proven in this session. When women pause together, when they breathe together, when they collectively choose to tend to their inner lives with the same seriousness they bring to their professional ones, something shifts. Not just for the hour, but beyond it. The session ended with a shared sense of bliss that was quiet, unhurried, and entirely real — the kind of ending that makes the next beginning feel lighter.
