FLO Kolkata concluded the year on a vibrant and memorable note with The Desi Drift – The Finale, a high-energy closing celebration. The afternoon brought together 300 members for an experience where the rhythm of the loom met the pulse of the street, celebrating creativity, culture, and the powerful spirit of sisterhood.
The Finale welcomed members into a lively atmosphere filled with music, conversation, and curated experiences.
The highlight of the afternoon was the Rhythmic Showcase & Live Drumming, which infused the venue with electrifying beats and contagious energy. The performances set the tone for an engaging and spirited gathering, encouraging members to immerse themselves in the rhythm and celebration.
Adding to the excitement was a spectacular dance performance that brought the stage to life. With dynamic choreography and vibrant music, the performance captured the festive spirit of the event and left the audience enthralled.
The Kulhad breaking activity brought together laughter, enthusiasm, and a sense of collective celebration, adding an element of fun and spontaneity to the afternoon.
Members enjoyed curated artisanal treats and explored engaging spaces designed for meaningful conversations and interaction. These thoughtfully curated elements created a warm and welcoming environment where members could connect, celebrate, and share ideas.
During the event, Narayan Sinha, an eminent and visionary artist who redefines sculpture and painting by breathing life into them, was felicitated by the FLO Chairperson and Past Chairs in recognition of his remarkable contribution to Indian art and sculpture.
The Change of Guard ceremony took place during the event, where Nidhi Jhunjhunwala, Chairperson 2025–26, warmly welcomed Mansi Agarwal, Incoming Chairperson 2026–27, marking the transition with gratitude and best wishes for the year ahead.
