MOU Signing Ceremony — FICCI FLO Lucknow & Sparkliv Foundation for Circular Economy & Plastic Waste Management

FLO Lucknow and Sparkliv Foundation signed a year-long Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 22nd April 2026, at Clarks Avadh, Lucknow, committing both organisations to a year of structured, measurable collaboration on plastic waste management and circular economy development. Sparkliv, founded by Priyank and Radhika Mishra, is no stranger to impact.

The organisation has already reached over 10,000 people through its signature Wastology workshops, built a community of 5,000+ regular plastic waste donors, and established Plastic Waste Drop-off Centres across Lucknow — physical collection points that make responsible disposal a community habit rather than an individual effort. Their artisans convert collected plastic waste into handcrafted lifestyle products — home décor, gift boxes, upcycled goods — through women-led micro-units that generate both income and environmental impact.

Mrs. Simran Sahani and Ms. Radhika Mishra signed the MOU, marking FLO Lucknow’s formal entry into the Greentech and Circular Economy space — not as a participant in conversation, but as an institutional partner in implementation. The MOU formalises what this partnership will deliver: Sparkliv’s Waste-Wise Events and awareness workshops will gain institutional amplification through FLO’s member networks, while new Plastic Waste Drop-off Centres will be established with joint target-based diversion goals.

What gives this partnership its particular significance is its approach to women’s empowerment. Rather than treating women as beneficiaries of a sustainability programme, the model positions them as central actors — as waste entrepreneurs, artisans, and community mobilisers who both drive and benefit from the circular economy.
