FLO Chennai, under the leadership of Chairperson Niyati A. Mehta, with the dedicated support of the committee members, organized a Sanitary Napkin Distribution Program in collaboration with NIINE. Hosted under the FLO Kavach initiative, the program was successfully conducted for the beneficiaries of Andhra Mahila Sabha. The initiative focused on promoting menstrual health and hygiene while ensuring access to safe and essential sanitary products for women.
More than 50 women benefited from the program through the distribution of sanitary napkin kits. Each kit contained sanitary pads along with basic hygiene information to encourage safe and healthy menstrual practices. The session also emphasized awareness of personal hygiene, the health risks associated with improper menstrual care, and the importance of using hygienic products.
