Shuchita Gupta Is The National Joint Treasurer For The Year 2026-27.

Shuchita Gupta is a seasoned finance leader, Fractional CFO, and Woman Director with a distinctive ability to integrate finance, governance, and compliance into business growth strategies. A Fellow Chartered Accountant and alumna of Sri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), she further honed her leadership perspective through executive education at the Yale School of Management. With a rare blend of financial and information technology expertise, she has held diverse leadership roles across sectors, building a strong reputation in advisory, transformation, and public engagement.

Over the years, Shuchita has worked closely with India’s startup ecosystem, serving as an Interim CFO to several high-growth companies including e-Enable Technologies, Adda52, Indiagift, and Moglix, where she was Director – Finance during its significant Series D funding phase. She has been instrumental in handholding startups from inception to scale—establishing robust financial systems, ensuring governance and regulatory compliance, and enabling sustainable growth. Her core strengths lie in financial and legal due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, process restructuring, and designing controls within tech-driven environments, including navigating complex transitions such as GST implementation and evolving e-commerce tax frameworks.

Beyond corporate roles, Shuchita has contributed meaningfully to the social sector, working as a finance auditor with organizations such as CRY and Oxfam India, and serving as an active Managing Trustee with the All India Society for Education of Children & Youth. She has played a pivotal role in mobilizing corporates and institutions to support causes related to child welfare and women’s empowerment, while also leading fundraising and capacity-building initiatives for grassroots organizations.

An active thought leader, Shuchita has been a part of several high-level industry discussions and forums, including engagements with DPIIT, FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), TiE, and IACC. She is also a Guest Faculty with UpGrad and a committed mentor on platforms such as SHE Rises and the Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) in collaboration with FICCI. Her contributions extend to shaping dialogue between industry and policymakers, including organizing pre- and post-budget roundtables with the Finance Minister.

She began her professional journey with leading firms such as Price Waterhouse and S.R. Batliboi & Co. (Ernst & Young), where she developed deep expertise in assurance and business advisory services, working with both domestic and multinational organizations to strengthen risk frameworks and internal controls.

Currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Law from National Law University, Bangalore, Shuchita continues to expand her multidisciplinary expertise, reinforcing her commitment to guiding businesses through complex financial, regulatory, and strategic landscapes.
