FLO Northeast, under the leadership of Chairperson Rashmi Manchanda, successfully organized a Sanitary Pad Distribution drive on 8th January 2026, reinforcing its commitment to women’s health, hygiene, and dignity. The initiative was supported by Nine, which sponsored the sanitary pads, and FICCI FLO Delhi, whose support strengthened the outreach and execution of the program.
The drive was conducted in a slum area near Railway Gate No. 3, with a focused objective of promoting menstrual hygiene awareness and addressing the challenges faced by women and adolescent girls due to a lack of access to essential sanitary products. Along with distribution, beneficiaries were sensitized on the importance of safe menstrual practices, personal hygiene, and breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation.
Around 250+ women and girls benefited from this sanitary pad distribution drive. The initiative reflected strong inter-chapter collaboration within FICCI FLO and demonstrated the organization’s continued efforts toward impactful, community-driven initiatives that support women at the grassroots level.
