FLO Bangalore, under the leadership of Chairperson Dekyi Yangtso Chawla, organized a warm and intimate Christmas Book Discussion, under their FLO Communities initiative, bringing FLO members together for an afternoon of books, bonding, and festive celebration. The gathering, graciously hosted by Ela Nobbay at her beautiful home, offered a cozy and festive environment conducive to meaningful dialogue and seasonal cheer.
The central focus of the session was a lively discussion on Twelve Ways to Kill Your Family at Christmas by Natasha Bache, moderated thoughtfully by Past Chairperson Jayshree Menon. The conversation was engaging, animated, and peppered with humour, creating a memorable literary exchange that combined reflection with festive enjoyment.
Adding an element of interactive fun, members participated in a game of “Guess the Killer,” fostering enthusiastic participation, friendly competition, and lighthearted moments. The session also included a festive book exchange, allowing each participant to receive a surprise book, further enhancing the joy and anticipation of the season.
The session successfully fostered literary engagement, strengthened member connections, and celebrated the spirit of the season. It reaffirmed FLO Bangalore’s commitment to creating intimate, meaningful spaces for conversation, learning, and shared joy. As a part of the FLO Communities initiative, this event is a testament to FLO Bangalore’s commitment towards creating meaningful relationships, opportunities, and a legacy of sustained support through connection and networking.
