FICCI FLO, under the leadership of the 42nd National President, Poonam Sharma, organized a virtual session titled “After Skill To Scale: Moving From Learning To Action” under the FLO Skilling In The Wedding Industry Initiative. The session was led by Shalini Beriwal, National Initiative Head, Project W.I.N.G.S, who interacted with the attendees regarding the success and practical experiences of the Skill to Scale, Gift Packaging Series with attendees.
The session included success case studies and practical experiences from Skill to Scale sessions across chapters. It highlighted how attendees move from learning to action through clarity and structured direction. The conversation reflected thoughtful discussions on why action often pauses after training and how clarity and structure can drive measurable progress. The impact on women participants from FLO Hyderabad and Ahmedabad was discussed.
So far, these sessions benefited attendees by equipping them with income-generating skills in the wedding and allied industries. In the Skill to Scale series, participants gained knowledge and skills related to creating a cash flow plan, turning temple fabrics into wedding decor gifts, creating beautiful handmade floral crafts, spiritual gifting, approaching wedding and event planners for collaboration, crafting aesthetic gift hampers, and the power of storytelling.
The Skill to Scale program series has successfully helped women entrepreneurs, homepreneurs, creative professionals, and small business owners by teaching them income-generating skills and growth tips for the wedding business.
After Skill to Scale: Moving From Learning to Action was an engaging and insightful session that reinforced one powerful message — learning finds its true impact when translated into meaningful action.
