FLO Uttarakhand, under the leadership of Chairperson Dr. Geeta Khanna, in association with Shri Nityanand Swami Jan Seva Samiti (Reg.), organized a plantation drive on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi at Shri Nityanand Swami Smriti Van, Telpur, near ICFAI University.
The drive was a meaningful initiative to spread green cheer and contribute towards building a healthier tomorrow. Led by Jai, grandson of Shri Nityanand Swami Ji, and his team, the effort resulted in the successful planting of 100 saplings, marking a significant step towards sustainability and environmental consciousness.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with around 35 people from both organizations coming together to support the cause. Among those present from FLO Uttarakhand were Chairperson Dr. Geeta Khanna, Vice Chairperson Meenakshi Soti, Secretary Smriti Batta, and FLO Member Ruchi Aggarwal, who actively joined hands in the plantation activity.
The plantation drive not only celebrated the spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi but also reflected FLO Uttarakhand’s commitment to ecological balance and community wellbeing.
