Project Shree – Suraksha Session 2 (Rural Skilling & Capacity Building)

FLO Uttarakhand, under the leadership of Chairperson Dr. Geeta Khanna, in collaboration with Udgam Foundation, organized Project Shree Suraksha session 2 at Akhil Bhartiya Mahila Ashram, Laxman Chowk, Dehradun. This impactful awareness session was held under the rural skilling and capacity building, with the objective of empowering women through enhanced understanding of personal safety, legal rights, and basic self-defense techniques. 

Facilitated by Coach Niriksha Chettri, the session was highly engaging and interactive,providing practical strategies and confidence-building tools to help participants stay alert,prepared, and protected in real-life situations.The project was initiated and led by Tripti Behl, FLO Uttarakhand’s Senior Vice Chairperson and President of Udgam Foundation, whose unwavering commitment to women’s safety continues to drive the vision of Project Shree.

The initiative was carried out under the able leadership and support of Dr. Geeta Khanna, Chairperson of FLO Uttarakhand, whose guidance has been instrumental in the successful execution of this safety-focused awareness program. Project Shree is a one step closer towards creating a safer and stronger tomorrow for women.

Around 30 participants became a part of this self defense workshop and empowered women by equipping them with safety skills. This event reached around 15000 individuals, recording an impactful outreach through this good initiative.
