Wheels Of Change: Cycle Distribution Drive By FLO Indore

FLO Indore, under the leadership of Chairperson CA Shweta Agarwal and Ar. Varsha Dagra, Skilling & Livelihood Head, FLO Indore 2025–26, in partnership with the Mukul Madhav Foundation (MMF) and supported by Finolex Pipes, organised a Cycle Distribution Drive at We for You, Bhavarkuan, A.B. Road. The event was honoured by the presence of Indore Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargava, along with Finolex Madhya Pradesh Head Ashutosh Jha and his team.

Faculty members from Himalayan Heights International School and the Director and Secretary of We for You were also present, adding significance to the occasion. The programme marked a meaningful step toward promoting mobility and educational accessibility for young girls. FLO Indore distributed 20 bicycles to girls supported by We for You, with the cycles being generously sponsored through CSR contributions from Mukul Madhav Foundation and Finolex Pipes India.

The distribution ceremony was filled with excitement, as the girls joyfully received their new bicycles, each one symbolizing hope, freedom, and new opportunities. Their bright smiles reflected the deep impact of this initiative, which aims not only to support education but also to uplift young lives by improving daily access and mobility.

The bicycles are expected to create a substantial change in the lives of the beneficiaries. With easier and safer commutes to school, the girls will save valuable time and energy, contributing to their overall academic focus and well-being. The bicycles also foster a sense of empowerment and independence, allowing the girls to move with dignity and confidence.

Beyond academics, the cycles will enable them to assist their families more effectively, enhancing their ability to contribute within their households. Above all, the joy of mobility brings them a renewed sense of freedom, reinforcing that opportunities are within their reach.

Through this initiative, 20 girls have been supported with improved access to education, aligning with FLO Indore’s continuous efforts to promote girl child empowerment and educational equity. The drive stands as a testament to the chapter’s commitment to creating meaningful, long-term impact within the community.
