FLO Chennai, under the leadership of Ms. Niyati A. Mehta, Chairperson, and with the support of the committee members, a sanitary napkin distribution program in association with NIINE Sanitary Napkins was conducted at Sacred Heart Girls High School for students from 9th to 12th standard.
The initiative aimed to create awareness about menstrual hygiene among adolescent girls and ensure easy access to safe and hygienic options like sanitary napkins. Over 150 students benefited from the distribution, receiving sanitary napkin kits along with guidance on maintaining personal hygiene and building menstrual health awareness.
The session encouraged open discussion and helped students gain confidence and clarity on an important yet often unspoken subject. This event was a part of FLO Kavach, which empowers women by taking care of their well-being.
