In November, YFLO Ahmedabad launched a Development Program designed to provide skill-based training and employment opportunities to young individuals interested in entering the construction industry. The program consists of two structured training phases designed to build both foundational and on-site practical knowledge:
Training Phase 1: 15 Days Hands-On Training in Formwork
Participants undergo an intensive 15-day practical training module focused on formwork, a crucial skill in construction. Key provisions include: free stay, free food, and travel reimbursement to reach the training centre. This ensures that youth from diverse backgrounds can participate without financial constraints.
Training Phase 2: 11.5 Months Site Training
Following Phase 1, participants move into an extended 11.5 months of on-site training, where they gain real-time industry exposure. They receive: ₹15,000 monthly stipend, and accommodation. This phase is structured to help youth become job-ready with practical experience and professional discipline.
Outcome & Placement Opportunity
Top-performing trainees from the program will be offered positions as Junior Foreman at Riv Infraprojects Pvt. Ltd., giving them a direct pathway to a long-term career in the construction sector.

The initiative received an impressive response, with a total of 150 participants enrolling in the program.
