FLO Siliguri, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Payal Periwal, in collaboration with Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC), organized a large-scale plantation of 1,000 trees in the Army campus at the center of Siliguri as a part of the project Harit Sankalp. A permanent FLO signage was also set up at the site of the plantation drive.
The project was led by both Ms. Swati Parekh and Ms. Vineeta Baid. A workshop was also conducted, which included an interactive plantation activity with Army families and community volunteers. Around 1000+ army and SMC families participated in this plantation drive.
