FLO Chennai, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Niyati A. Mehta, hosted an inspiring and engaging session with Dr. Thamizhachi Thangapandian, a renowned parliamentarian, poet, and teacher. The session witnessed the participation of over 140 enthusiastic members, whose energy and curiosity contributed to a lively and interactive atmosphere.
FLO Chennai distributed 20 bicycles to academic toppers from Kandigai Higher Secondary School and Nemili Girls Higher Secondary School. This thoughtful initiative was supported by Finolex Industries Limited (FIL) and the Mukul Madhav Foundation (MMF).
The initiative aims to promote continued education among girls, encourage eco-friendly mobility, and foster a spirit of self-reliance and empowerment. The gesture was warmly appreciated by the students and school representatives present at the event. 20 girls and the school principal, and a few teachers were present.
The evening concluded with an overwhelming sense of purpose and pride, reinforcing FLO Chennai’s commitment to women’s development, education, and sustainable community initiatives.
