FLO Vadodara, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Shivani P. Patel, collaborated with committee member and entrepreneur Ms. Amee Patel for her debut venture – Monsoon Magic with Meets Fashion. As part of the FLO Connect initiative, the event promoted and spotlighted sustainable clothing and artisan-led handloom revival under FICCI FLO’s national initiative, while creating sales opportunities that benefit artisans.
The event showcased sustainable clothing rooted in traditional handlooms, reimagined for modern fashion. Also, the session celebrated fashion with purpose, highlighting how design-led creativity can integrate heritage, sustainability, and market relevance.
With FLO Vadodara’s support, the showcase achieved excellent sales, creating direct income opportunities for artisans. Members appreciated the thoughtful blend of aesthetics, sustainability, and impact, making it a memorable first initiative by Amee under FLO’s platform.
Impact
Around 100 people attended this event. This collaboration gave visibility to artisan-made sustainable clothing, reinforced FLO’s commitment to handloom promotion, and encouraged conscious fashion choices. It also strengthened FLO’s vision of nurturing women entrepreneurs who merge creativity with community development and economic empowerment.
