FLO FIT: FLO Kanpur’s First-Ever Sports Event

FLO Kanpur, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Kriti Shroff, hosted its first-ever sports event, “FLO FIT: Women. Sports. Power,” exclusively for its members at The Sportz Hub (TSH). It aimed to promote fitness, inclusivity, and team spirit among FLO members while creating a platform for fellowship, participation, and celebration through sports.

This first-ever sports extravaganza witnessed enthusiastic participation from 250 players and over 230 spirited members. The event featured 10 sports, with 8 dynamic teams competing across various categories. Highlighting inclusivity, 8 inspiring para players participated, symbolizing determination and resilience.

Participants played various types of games during the two-day sports event, such as box cricket, badminton, table tennis, basketball, carrom, swimming, cycling, relay races, and wheelchair race.

The event was the result of 60 days of meticulous planning and the efforts of 25 dedicated team members. Free entry through passes encouraged maximum participation and fellowship, while jerseys, cash rewards, hospitality support, and gift vouchers added vibrancy and energy to the event.

Hosted under Fellowship Vertical, FLO FIT successfully fostered fellowship and unity, bringing members together to celebrate energy, fitness, and sportsmanship. The active participation of para players added inspiration and meaning, demonstrating inclusivity at its core.

The event strengthened community spirit, camaraderie, and enthusiasm among members. As FLO Kanpur’s first sports initiative of this scale, FLO FIT set a benchmark for future fellowship events, marking a significant milestone in the chapter’s journey.
