From Frontline to Nation First Duty, Discipline & Deshbhakti (National Initiative – Skilling)

FICCI FLO Vadodara, led by chairperson Shivani P. Patel, in collaboration with  Lt. Gen. Kanwal Jeet Singh Dhillon (Retd.), hosted an event, From Frontline to Nation First Duty, Discipline & Deshbhakti, which is a part of a national initiative-skilling. This session focused on inspiring participants through the values, leadership lessons, and lived experiences of Lt. Gen. Dhillon.

He is a decorated army officer and a symbol of unwavering patriotism, courage, and humility. Lt. Gen. Dhillon shared powerful stories from his decades of service in the Indian Army, offering rare insight into the challenges of leadership, the strength of emotional intelligence, and the deep sense of duty that comes with serving the nation.

His experiences highlighted how empathy, discipline, and moral clarity can guide decisions even in the most demanding circumstances. Lt. Gen. Dhillon passionately spoke about the importance of youth empowerment, fostering unity across all sections of society, and living with integrity and purpose. He emphasised that true leadership is rooted in values, responsibility, and a commitment to the greater good.

Around 146 women benefited from this national initiative. Lt. Gen. Dhillon fostered a deeper sense of purpose, integrity, and national pride among the audience. Participants saw more than just a distinguished military leader—they saw a man of deep conviction, compassion, and character.

The session left everyone uplifted and deeply moved—not just by his distinguished service, but by the grace, sincerity, and timeless wisdom he brought to the conversation.
