YFLO Ahmedabad, in collaboration with Karma Foundation, proudly organised a Book Donation Drive to support the creation of a library for inmates at Sabarmati Jail. This initiative was aimed at promoting healing, learning, and personal growth through the power of reading. Through the overwhelming support of members, YFLO Ahmedabad successfully collected over 100 books in Gujarati, Hindi, and English, spanning across genres like fiction & non-fiction, motivational & spiritual, and educational & self-help.
This drive was more than just about books — it was about sustainability and inclusivity. By giving books a new life, we encouraged sustainable practices of reuse and sharing. By curating literature in multiple languages, we ensured that every inmate, regardless of background, could access knowledge, inspiration, and hope.
The library at Sabarmati Jail will now stand as a symbol of second chances, personal growth, and the transformative power of learning. With this initiative, YFLO Ahmedabad continues its commitment to building meaningful impact in society, one book, one life at a time.
