Gratitude in Action: FLO Ludhiana Extended Support To Families Affected By Punjab Flood

FLO Ludhiana, under the leadership of Chairperson Shweta Jindal and the Core Committee, in association with AARTH Foundation, launched an urgent appeal to extend relief to families affected by the devastating floods in Punjab. The recent floods have severely impacted large parts of Punjab, displacing countless families.

Now, people in Punjab are in dire need of food, medical aid, and essential supplies. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, FLO Ludhiana stepped forward to mobilize collective efforts and provide timely assistance. All material that was collected was sent to the Deputy

Commissioner IAS Himanshu Jain’s Office. FLO members actively contributed essential relief items, including:

  • Dry ration
  • Clean drinking water
  • Medicines and ORS
  • Blankets, mats, and torches with batteries
  • Soaps, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and sanitary pads
  • Dry milk and other basic necessities.

The efforts not only ensured smooth coordination of collection drives but also created a

strong sense of solidarity within the FLO fraternity. FLO Ludhiana Chairperson, Shweta Jindal, emphasized: “This is a moment that calls for unity and compassion. Every contribution, no matter how small, has the power to ease suffering and help rebuild lives. FLO Ludhiana is committed to being a pillar of support during these difficult times.”

A total of 200 members have already donated for Punjab flood relief. Through this initiative, FLO Ludhiana demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility and community welfare. The chapter continues to appeal to individuals, communities, and institutions to stand together in support of Punjab, ensuring resilience and hope in the process of recovery.
