FICCI FLO, under the leadership of the 42nd National President, Ms. Poonam Sharma, launched a 2-week course “She Invests- A Practical Guide to Angel Investing for Women” in collaboration with Dexter Ventures, a pre-pool fund investing firm primarily in seed and pre-seed stage startups across diverse sectors. Organized under the FLO Startup Cell initiative, this program focuses on empowering women to become angel investors and capital allocators.
It is designed for FLO members exclusively who want to learn how to confidently invest in early-stage startups. The course is designed to help attendees gain advanced angel investing knowledge and skills, such as startup evaluation, deal structuring, legal and regulatory understanding, and portfolio management.
So far, four modules have been completed virtually from August 29 to September 19, 2025. Two modules are scheduled to take place in October 2025. This course is successfully scaled to over 2 million learners.

This course is a part of FLO’s Startup Cell initiative, which is led by Initiative head, Ms. Priya Goutham, along with the support of team members Archana Burman, Nupur Handa, Shuchita Gupta, Simran Sahni, Pooja Arambhan, Anupama Modi, Charu Gupta, Jyothi Thomas, and Archana Doshi.
She Invests: A Practical Guide to Angel Investing for Women is a part of FICCI FLO’s efforts towards boosting gender diversity in the investment ecosystem by creating a new generation of certified women angel investors who can fund innovation. Post course completion, participants will get opportunities to invest in real startups and get access to FLO Angel Circles & Events.
