On the occasion of Women’s Day, FLO Mumbai hosted an event that combined leadership insights with joy. The event opened with a panel discussion moderated by the FLO Mumbai Chairperson Ms. Aarmeen Mogul Dordi. A salsa instructor was invited to the event and led the dance session.
The panelists included Ms. Nazneen Katrak, Founder of Mustang Socks, and Mr. Sanjay Thakker, Chairman of the Landmark Group. The discussion followed the business journeys of the two leaders, the challenges they faced, and the resilience that propelled them to success.
Ms. Nazneen Katrak emphasized that business success is not defined by gender but by vision, commitment, and dedication. She stressed the importance of embracing modern technology, staying ahead of design and fashion trends, and fostering honesty and teamwork as key factors for success.
Mr. Sanjay Thakker acknowledged the evolving landscape where women are making significant strides in industries traditionally dominated by men. Despite facing biases, women have showcased remarkable dedication and a strong learning mindset, allowing them to climb the corporate ladder. He further noted that many multinational corporations today are recognizing the immense value women bring to the workplace, given their inherent qualities of commitment, creativity, and trust.
