FLO Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh extended its support to the Self-Help Groups (SHGs) of Jammu Kashmir Rural Livelihood Mission (JKRLM) by visiting the Saras Aajeevika Mela, an initiative aimed at promoting the craft, culture, and cuisine of Jammu & Kashmir. The event provided a platform for women entrepreneurs from various regions of Jammu & Kashmir to showcase their handcrafted products, reflecting the rich heritage and artistic excellence of rural India.
A delegation from FLO Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh, along with its members, attended the mela to encourage the participating women and actively procured products from them. This initiative reinforced FLO Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh’s commitment to women’s empowerment by fostering economic opportunities for rural artisans and supporting sustainable livelihoods.
