FLO Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh and the Central University of Jammu signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together for skilling and entrepreneurship promotion, health and wellness, women empowerment, and other areas of mutual interest under the guidance and mentorship of Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu. The program was coordinated by Prof. Jaya Bhasin, Dr. Shahid Mushtaq, and Dr. Asif Ali from the School of Business Studies, impacting 6000 female students.
This collaboration aims to equip women students with essential skills that align with industry demands. MoUs were signed by Ms. Ruchika Gupta, Chairperson, FLO Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh, and Prof. Yashwant Singh, Registrar, Central University of Jammu in the presence of Core team members of the chapter. Both institutions will collaborate to organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions to enhance teaching methodologies and subject expertise.
Ms. Aarti Chowdhary, Sr. Vice Chairperson, Ms. Sona Mehta, Treasurer, Ms. Nandita Bajaj, Jt. Executive Secretary and faculty members from the School of Business Studies including Prof. Jaya Bhasin, Dr. Shahid Mushtaq, and Dr. Asif Ali.
Ms. Ruchika Gupta, Chairperson, highlighted that the Young Women Affinity Group (YWAG) initiative, aims to engage with women students in various empowerment activities.
