FLO Chennai, led by Chairperson Dr. Divya Abhishek and Skilling Vertical Head Ms. Vanitha Venugopal, conducted the ‘Campus to = Corporate’ training program at Jeppiaar University. The program aimed to equip students with essential corporate skills, allowing them to transition from academic life to the professional world.
The 6-hour training session was attended by 320 students and received an outstanding rating of 4.9/5.0. The session covered key topics such as self-awareness, critical and creative thinking, communication, time management, problem-solving, stress management, teamwork, leadership, and self-motivation. A total of 20 mock interviews and 15 group discussions were conducted, providing students with hands-on experience in corporate communication and professional interactions. Additionally, 195 resumes were prepared to align with industry standards.
Student feedback highlighted key takeaways such as the acquisition of knowledge beyond textbooks, interactive learning experiences, and insightful sessions that left a lasting impression. FLO Chennai recommended that faculty members follow up on students’ CVs post-training to ensure they are well-prepared for recruitment processes.
