FLO Chennai, led by Chairperson Dr. Divya Abhishek and Skilling Vertical Head Ms. Vanitha Venugopal, conducted the ‘Campus to Corporate’ training program at Stella Maris College. The 6-hour session aimed to equip students with essential corporate skills, facilitating a transition from academia to the professional world.
The training program witnessed an impressive turnout of 245 students, receiving an outstanding rating of 4.9/5.0. The session encompassed various key topics, including self-awareness, critical and creative thinking, communication, time management, problem-solving, stress management, teamwork, leadership, and self-motivation.
18 mock interviews and 12 group discussions were conducted, providing students with hands-on experience in corporate interactions. Additionally, 155 resumes were meticulously prepared to align with industry expectations. The session provided a perfect mix of engagement, skill-building, and career-oriented insights, leaving students with a clear understanding of their career paths. To enhance the program’s effectiveness, FLO Chennai recommended that faculty members follow up on students’ CVs post-training. It was also suggested that the training be conducted for final-year students before campus placements to maximize its benefits.
