FLO Bangalore hosted the ASEAN delegation, facilitating an exchange of business insights, cultural appreciation, and opportunities for collaboration. The visit started at the Art of Living Ashram. The visit featured a session with Guruji Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, and the evening featured a formal South Indian dinner reception, hosted by the FLO Executive Committee. This intimate gathering, marked by the exchange of handcrafted gifts, reinforced the spirit of goodwill and cultural diplomacy.
The second day was dedicated to high-level engagements, beginning with a special visit to the Legislative Assembly – Vidhan Soudha. The delegates participated in discussions with Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh and senior government officials, exploring key aspects of India’s trade policies, global partnerships, and export opportunities. These interactions created meaningful dialogue and strengthened cross-border business connections.
The visit concluded with a coffee appreciation session at Araku Coffee, a distinguished establishment renowned for its sustainable practices. Led by industry expert Mr. Chandan, the session provided an in-depth understanding of the art and commerce of coffee production. ASEAN delegates shared experiences, strategic discussions, and cultural exchanges underscore the potential for future collaboration.
