FLO Kanpur organized the “Threaded Dreams” initiative, under the leadership of Chairperson Ms. Nalini Sanwal, aimed to empower girls from the Arth Foundation by teaching them different forms of embroidery. The session under the National Initiative – Handloom, Textile & Handicrafts sought to provide hands-on learning, fostering creativity and enhancing skill development among the participants and impacted 30 children from the Arth Foundation.
Rozy Mandoliya, a skilled embroidery instructor, guided the participants through various embroidery techniques, including basic stitches and advanced patterns. 5 Volunteers from FLO Kanpur actively participated, assisting the learners and contributing to the engaging learning environment.
The attendees had the opportunity to explore the art of embroidery as well. FLO members played a crucial role in assisting the instructor and guiding the children throughout the session.
