FLO Chennai, led by Dr. Divya Abhishek, Chairperson, and supported by Ms. Jyothi Thomas, Head of the Rural Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Vertical, and Ms. Sandhya Jaichandren, Head of the Impact-Literacy Vertical, conducted the second Digital and Financial Literacy Session for women in Perumbakkam. The event was sponsored by the Sanmar Group and empowered 50 women by improving their financial and digital literacy. The session focused on equipping participants with essential skills for budgeting, saving, and managing debt, and leveraging digital tools to streamline financial tasks. The women actively engaged in discussions on improving their financial management practices, with many expressing eagerness to apply these skills to improve their households and communities.
The participants gained a deeper understanding of how to navigate the digital landscape, manage their finances effectively, and make informed financial decisions.
