FLO Uttarakhand collaborated with Aan Charitable Trust, in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha, and the Government of Uttarakhand successfully organized the “ACT: Action, Change, Transformation Campaign” through a week-long initiative called “Jagrukhta Saptah.” from September 25th to October 1st, 2024.
This impactful campaign addressed critical issues in rural Uttarakhand, reaching over 900 children, adolescents, and their families. Key focus areas included safe touch-unsafe touch awareness, menstrual hygiene management, and SRHR education for adolescent girls.
The initiative also launched the ‘Kishori Uchh Shiksha Protsahan Yojna,’ promoting educational opportunities for school dropouts, especially adolescent girls, fostering a brighter future for them.
