FLO organised a curated walkthrough the ‘Chitram Vastram’ exhibition held in the National Museum, Janpath on December 20, 2022 for the members.
‘Chitram Vastram’, was the journey of textiles and sartorial styles through Jain manuscript paintings. Clothes, colours and artworks from the manuscripts were used to show the culture’s significance in everyday life even after 1,000 years.
This is an exclusive initiative under the FLO National Textile Initiative, with the objective of promoting Indian art, craft and textiles.
