You Run, She Runs!!!
FICCI FLO Uttarakhand organized a Half-Marathon in association withæThrill ZoneæatæMaharana Pratap Sports College, Dehradunæon August 5, 2018.
The theme of the event was 'Run To Save The Girl Child & #39;. The 21 Km and 10 Km marathon was flagged off by Ms. Bhupinder Kaur Aulakh, IAS and 5 Km by Mr. Ashok Kumar, ADG Uttarakhand Police. The chief guest for the event was Mr. Subodh Uniyal, Agriculture Minister, Uttarakhand. Tree saplings were also gifted to all winners byæSparsh Ganga, an initiative of Arushi Nishank. The event saw a lot of running enthusiasts come and enjoy despite heavy rains. Many people ran for the first time and took their first step towards a healthier future.
